This class runs regularly on Saturdays and is also available as a private event for groups of up to 12 people. It’s a wonderfully fun and satisfying way to connect with friends, family or colleagues through a shared creative experience.

You'll learn to work with ready-made clay slabs to create your own plates and platters, shaping them over 'hump' moulds and decorating the surfaces with stamps and carvings. Choose from our collection of stamps and natural materials, or bring along your own objects to experiment with texture — leaves, seed pods, or any bric-a-brac with interesting patterns can be pressed into the clay to create beautiful, evocative surfaces.

The cost includes clay, glazing and kiln firing of 3–4 finished pieces.

Your finished ceramic pieces will be ready for collection once they have been dried, bisque-fired, glazed and glaze-fired — this process typically takes around 8 weeks.
